Would there be enough pregnant women in the UK willing to have their portrait done? I asked myself?
In my hometown of Petersfield, I knew approx 300 babies were born each year, so I figured that if only 10% were interested - that was a good start! Little did I know how the genre of pregnancy photography would blossom (so to speak!) with me as one of the foremost photographers in the UK.
Fast forward 17 years. All change. I now have the same name as Beyonce's mum!
It makes googling me a bit more interesting!
Tina BOLTON Photography has a wonderful reputation for pregnancy photography, professional, friendly commercial photography and as a great photography teacher. So why change the branding?
I became a divorce statistic in 2015, I took the decision to keep my surname the same as my children. Now they are young adults, the time felt right to go back to my maiden name on a personal and business footing. So now I'm embracing this change, merging my two businesses and starting afresh.
Tina KNOWLES Photography is my new business, I'm taking the opportunity to improve my photography offering. To streamline what I provide. Which is what exactly?
My first love is photographing people. People in business, people modelling products, people having fun, people learning a new hobby and being inspired to take better photos. So whether you require a headshot, an events photographer or someone to photograph and direct your models wearing/holding your wonderful products, I'm your man (or woman actually!)
My other love has to be passing on my photography knowledge. I teach after-school photography in local schools. My diary fills up with people wanting to learn photography for a special trip away, a family wedding, shooting their own products or just general fun and improvement of a hobby they adore. All done over a relaxed coffee, in simple, easy to understand style.
