Travel Photography

new york travel photography by tina knowles photography-11-2

I LOVE to travel and always take a variety of cameras with me, my first is of course my trusty Samsung phone with its superior phone camera. If I need to travel super-light (hiking up mountains for instance) or I don't want to keep stopping in order to hoik a big camera and lenses out of a backpack, then I take my Sony RX100, iii - a pocket rocket of a camera. Closely followed by the 'amazing in low light' Fuji X-Pro 1 with a 50mm lens and an 18mm wide-angle, my main travel companion. It's rare I take my 'work' camera for travel (Canon 5D iii) but I have been known to!

I have a 'thing' for old doors and doorways, and I seem to have begun a collection of moped shots too!

Who knows where my travelling legs will take me, but I'll be sure to have at least one camera on hand.

I teach travel photography and any of the images you see are available as limited edition prints.
