Interiors photography tuition

May and Ben Thorne of Charter Walk Kitchens approached me to help them with their kitchen photography. The kitchens that they design and fit are stunning and they wanted to ensure that the photography reflected that. May was already a keen photographer and had unofficially taken on the role for the company, but she knew that she was capable of taking even better photographs once she had got to grips with her camera.

So we agreed on an initial five day, 1 to 1 training plan. For the first three days, we worked on composition, and camera functions. Learning how to understand the camera better and take better photos. The following week we put this into practice with two shoots in recent clients' kitchens. May took these images, with some guidance and encouragement. She was unused to taking her time and maneuvering a tripod - having normally gone in and shot the kitchen on auto settings.

The difference in the images is fabulous to see, not only are their kitchens breathtaking, you can see that in the images too. It will take more practice and under my guidance May's photography has come on leaps and bounds already. Their social media and website are reflecting the high-quality workmanship that they are so proud of.
