I love a good prom and I am booked to photograph quite a few over the coming weeks, but I find it so frustrating as these wonderful teenagers look sooooo amazing but I only have seconds to capture their stunning appearances. ‘Senior school’ portraits are usually geared to what the parents want on their mantlepiece and not usually what their teenagers want on their wall or Insta account.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to change all that.
This was a shoot for a prom goer, she got to give her prom dress a fabulous outing in Petersfield, not an obvious choice for an Instagram worthy shoot but as I specialise in using natural light and surroundings, with a little research on outfits and locations we came up with this range of images.
My question is – would your teenager like a shoot like this? A chance to wear their prom outfit again!!
